New E-zine is now out! Please note that this is only available to members.
Our members are mothers who are apart from their children for many different reasons and who are in various circumstances.
In the UK alone, there are many more mothers apart from their children than one would imagine. It can sometimes be challenging for those outside of this experience to understand which can lead to an isolating experience for mothers.
Some of our members have no contact, others have regular shared contact. Some see their children only rarely due to estrangement or parental alienation. Others are only able to speak to their children over the phone, skype, Facebook, text or email due to distance, domestic abuse, social services intervention or international abduction.
Whatever the reason for being apart, we understand the complex pain that this can cause to a mother no matter her age, race, orientation, circumstance or amount of contact with her children.
You will be treated with dignity and respect.
You are far from alone in experiencing some of the overwhelming emotions that a mother feels when apart from her children. Our team is experienced, sympathetic and understanding and we have a large group of women who have also been through having little or no contact with their children, for a variety of reasons. We can help you.
Your generous donations and support will help to fund our work in supporting mothers.
We rely on donations to support training, funding the valuable helpline, for therapy for some mothers and for additional support at a time when they may be without a home or money to enable them to see their children.
We appreciate any and all support we receive.
